We have been blessed with an abundance of great work from our new and existing clients this year, and humbled by the referrals they have sent our way! Nothing makes me happier than to know the businesses we’ve helped along this journey think enough of us to tell others about what we do...so thank you to everyone who shared your experience with your friends and colleagues. Another blessing we have experienced in 2016 is the expansion of our service offerings, thanks to the amazing staff we have assembled. I will be willing to bet my bottom dollar that there is not a digital agency anywhere in Georgia with a more talented, capable and creative crew that Ringer now has -- and their talents and contributions toward our clients’ projects stand as a testament of what a strong, dynamic team we have been lucky enough to assemble. We are using the very latest technologies to create top-of-the-line websites, intranets, databases and videos, all of which speak to a high level of service I only dreamed about this time last year. Some of our work from 2016 is featured on our home page at www.HireARinger.com, if you want to take a look.
As for 2017...it’s hard to know where to start, and since this newsletter has space limitations, I’ll try to keep it short, and present a few of the many offerings we have in store, including:
- Enhanced video production using our new Drones...you can read about this innovative - and very popular - Ringer service in the right-hand rail of this newsletter.
- Automation technology that takes care of a website’s changing content. For instance, if you post something on your site’s blog, you can simultaneously share your new posting across your social media platforms.
- Educational videos, to explain some of the technological advantages of our service offerings, and how they can work for you.
- Hosting events with former and future clients, such as Lunch-and Learn gatherings, workshops and networking get-togethers. In the meantime, save the date for our next Quarterly Gala, to be held on February 10, 2017.
- The roll-out of Ringer Express, a quick turn-around web development service for clients who need their first “real website.”
As you can see, life at Ringer Consulting has been -- and will continue to be -- busier and better than ever! So, on behalf of the entire Ringer team, we wish you a very happy holiday season, and a fantastic 2017 - may you experience an abundance of life, love and laughter throughout the new year!
Ringer Consulting Group Seeks Non-Profit Nominations
Ringer Consulting Group is getting into the holiday spirit of giving by accepting nominations of statewide non-profit organizations for a chance to receive a pro bono charitable gift of a custom-built website or database. The top two charities receiving the most votes will receive Ringer’s services free of charge. Each winning non-profit’s gift is equal to $12,000.
Submissions are accepted now through Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016. Ringer will then review and narrow the field of qualifiers, and the public will vote for one of 10 finalists from Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 to Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. The two winning charities will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017. Leaders of Georgia-based charities are encouraged to nominate their respective organizations. To submit an organization, visit www.HireARinger.com/charity.
Nominated non-profits must either be Georgia-based, or have an operating chapter within the state, to qualify for receipt of Ringer’s 2017 charitable gift. Individuals submitting nominations do not need to be directly affiliated with his or her chosen charity.
Ringer’s founder and CEO Gabriel Meacham decided to change the selection process this year: Rather than taking nominations from his staff, he has invited the public to nominate charities they deem worthy of a contribution.
Did you know that Ringer Consulting Group has a secret weapon? We do….
It’s a drone – or, to be more precise, two drones.
The good news is, we didn’t purchase our drones to spy on other nations, or add to our impressive Star Wars Figurine collection. We take spectacular videos with our new drones on behalf of our clients who want to showcase something outdoors.
Below, you can watch a couple examples of what our drones have captured for two of our clients:
As you can see, the drone footage really captures the total environment, so the viewer gets a much more enhanced feel for each company than they would have without incorporating aerial shots. Using drones turns a regular video into an actual experience. Several of our current clients have requested incorporating drone footage into new videos that will appear on their websites and social media accounts, and act as stand-alone presentations they can use in their boardrooms.
“Our drone video service has really been a game-changer, both for our agency and our clients,” said Gabe Meacham, Founder and CEO of Ringer Consulting Group. “You will be hard-pressed to find a Web Development and Design business that offers this sort of technology as an in-house service. Our philosophy, “Everything digital, under one roof,” allows us to give our clients the best website possible by keeping our costs low, and not having to outsource any photography or video footage to another company. There’s no need to double-charge a client for our services and the services of other companies whose price-points are usually much higher than ours.”
If you or any business you’re familiar with might want to consider outdoor aerial footage for their current or new website, have them give us a call at (404) 369-0009.
Developer Spotlight: Eight Questions for Delray Nelson
What do you do as a Web Developer?
LOL! Well, I pretty much do the cool stuff that no one else has the time or patience to do. I help businesses, organizations and profiles get on the web in a fantastic way!
Why do you do what you do?
Honestly, I love developing. I like practicing code and building useful things that people need, and that gives me the expertise to build even greater things in the future.
What sort of thing makes you feel satisfied at the end of the work day?
When the job gets done. Also, finding that one line of code that screws everything to hell...the most satisfying thing is when I yell to the team, “I FOUND THE [expletive deleted] THAT’S BEEN CAUSING SO MUCH PAIN!!!”
What else are you good at?
I am really good at drawing, instructing gymnastics, and giving dating advice or counseling...a shoulder to cry on, if you will.
If you weren’t here talking to me, what would you rather be doing?
Well, one of two things: Relaxing with my buddies, drinking beer and watching Dragon Ball Super -- or any other cool anime, OR spending some quiet time meditating on my next project.
What’s your sign?
Scorpio. Yup that’s right…a damn Scorpio.
What is your favorite quote?
“Everything is going according to plan, except for within the minds of men.” – Napoleon Hill
What’s your all-time favorite movie?
Oh man, this is a tough one…hmmm…. I have to say my ALL-TIME favorite movie would be Prometheus, from 2012. I really admire the movie simply because of the deep religious meanings and metaphors throughout the film. It also keeps the mind wondering “what if?” I also favor the original soundtrack as well. I know you didn’t ask, but my second favorite movie is Interstellar. Its original soundtrack is also great.
